My father in law died from covid so we left our home and moved to Spring. To handle my father in laws affairs. Long story short the first lender we met screwed us. We lost a lot of money and time. But we we’re getting discouraged but with my sons situation we still desperately needed a house. It was hard for us to trust anyone. We work very hard. I’m a chef for the Houston Texans and my husband is a small business owner. Just because you have a little money doesn’t mean people should take advantage. But after getting screwed we lost alot of money and didn’t think we would get the financing. Then we met Larry Torres! We were moved in to our home in 7 weeks from day one. We couldn’t believe it and it’s still a blessing. He was so professional and there was never a question I had that I didn’t get explained till I understood completely. He is the only mortgage broker I would ever recommend. It’s a scary process and I was confident and felt secure the entire time. Typically, when working with buyers, I rely on a select list of lenders with whom I have established strong business relationships. It is crucial for me to provide my clients with the best team that will prioritize their interests. Reaching the closing table on time and delivering an exceptional home buying experience requires a team with excellent communication skills, the ability to crunch numbers, prompt responses, and overall outstanding service. Larry and Ashli embodied all of these qualities! This particular transaction had its rocky moments while under contract. Just two nights before closing, our buyer was ready to back out due to a repair/replace request that couldn't be resolved between the buyer and seller. I thought I had exhausted all possible options to satisfy both parties and had informed Larry that the buyer had requested to sign the Buyer's Termination. After explaining the situation to Larry, he came up with one more brilliant suggestion that saved the entire deal! Sometimes, sacrifices are necessary to prioritize our clients' best interests. The Closing Disclosure (CD) had to be re-run through underwriting, and to our surprise, we didn't have to wait for another three-day hold. Not only did we close on time, but we also closed an entire week early, just in time for our buyers to enjoy the holiday weekend lounging by their new pool! Larry, I can't express enough how much I appreciate you for taking my call, listening, and ultimately saving the deal! Larry and Ashli were super helpful and made the home buying process a breeze. They shopped around and got me a really good rate and closing went smoothly.
